Beat The Heat: A Refreshing Lemonade Recipe From The MediLodge Whole Person Wellness Program

Stay cool this summer with this classic Lemonade recipe.  It only takes a few minutes and serves six to eight people.  To your health!



2 cups sugar

1 cup hot water

2 cups fresh lemon juice

1 gallon cold water

1 lemon, sliced

Mint sprigs, for garnish





In a gallon container, mix sugar and hot water until dissolved.

Add lemon juice and cold water to render 1 gallon.

Stir well until mixed.




Pour over ice.

Squeeze slice of lemon on top of each.

Garnish with a sprig of mint.
